We’re big fans of fresh herbs – and rosemary is one of our favourites. We even use it in our Rockpool non-alcoholic gin cocktail.

Its Latin name is Rosmarinus officinalis which means “mist of the sea”. You can find it growing along the cliff tops in the Mediterranean, but it’s also very at home growing in the UK. It loves well drained soil, a good watering now and then – and plenty of light and air.

It tastes great and smells amazing – and the bees love it. So if you’re looking for something to edge a garden, brighten up a sunny patio or even a window sill, give rosemary a go.
